Re: ADD STREANMS TO SERVER for devices/apps that cannot run
Hi there, This is how the player with external playlist is working. You can export your current playqueue to a m3u8 playlistfile, like: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:229,Avicii - Waiting for Love http://10.0.0.11:8080/stream?player=5&id=3729&auth=326397656&suffix=.mp3 #EXTINF:235,Avicii - Talk to Mys...

Re: ADD STREANMS TO SERVER for devices/apps that cannot run
Any way to change the port? Already have servers using 8080. Cool to know it's possible. Would be cool, if when a device or app that can play rtsp streams connects to the server, it could get a list of playlists as 'channels', or other 'channels' could be "Recently Added songs", etc...

ADD STREANMS TO SERVER for devices/apps that cannot run clie
NEW FEATURE idea  : :D :D :D Another idea that came to me is this... It would be awesome to ADD functionality to Madsonic so that the server could create streams for devices and apps out there that can add streamed sources, but cannot run Madsonic client, or a web browser.. :D So, in addition...

Thanks, and ReQuestion
Hello! Looks great! Under "Home Defaults:/List Type" Why is there no option to have the default list be "Recently Added SONGS, or Random Songs, or Starred Shuffled Songs??? Madsonic is SO Album Artist oriented. I never listen to music that way. Some of us actually like listening to ou...

RECENTLY ADDED SONGS
why is it seemingly impossible to do something as simple as get a list of the most recently added songs?!? (sorted by most recent, to least recent) i keep adding single mp3 files to our server, and can't find them... so you either HAVE TO remember EVERY SINGLE TRACK in your HUGE library (200,000 son...

Re: Madsonic Development
there's something shady about taking advantage of the open source spirit until you decide you want to profit from it, then taking the source hostage and charging admission for it... going forward.

why won't the client load the library of tracks for faster selection or browsing?

Re: Observation about the various clients and Madsonic parad
I listen to a lot of underground and unsigned stuff... they don't have id3 tags... why can't I just search, find a string in an mp3's filename, select it, play it, or add it to a Playlist with ease??

Re: Observation about the various clients and Madsonic parad
tried to find a track that I know is in my library. it has no id3 tags because it's a mix. it's extraordinarily difficult to find, browse, search, and play individual mp3 files that don't fit into the album artist paradigm.

Re: Observation about the various clients and Madsonic parad
The fact that there's seemingly no way to browse songs means i just have to have thousands upon thousands of songs memorized... then what's the point of a database? Why aren't any of the below possible?? Random SONGS Random RECENTLY ADDED SONGS Recently added SONGS (sorted by most recently added des...

Observation about the various clients and Madsonic paradigm
FIRSTLY i want to say, Madsonic is my favorite overall, and in many specific ways... So i feel funny 'complaining'. Madsonic is VERY ALBUM-cenric, and ARTISTS-centric. Those aspect are good. My library serves a family of NINE people. So our music collection is very SONG-centric. We try to add everyb...
