hello, I tested last night the new version. I think I found a bug. 1- Random way the lists of directories is accessed reactualize aléatoiremen every 10 seconds to 45 seconds. Improper adjustment on my part or bug? 2- Is it normal to have 40 subsonic process during intensive use? Sorry for my english! :?

Hi there, Well, Beta 4 is coming and a lot of new changes, fixes should be tested out. Everybody can help find bugs and report: error messages, screenshots, exceptions or log-files can help a lot to identify some problems. in the beta phase i use many snapshot library builds, so problems with newer libraries can cause some errors. also new versions of sub components like ffmpeg have sometimes heavy code change to newer...

I just tried something different to see what would happen and it made a difference.... Before I did a scan for new material I refreshed the left frame to see if the new albums appeared there and they did. Then I did a scan and all of the items appeared on the first scan under the new section. I only tried this once so I can't confirm that it officially worked but it did this one time.

Another thought... I was recently changing the mp3tag version of my audio files to be compatible with the moods feature, which means I updated them to ID3v2.4. However, mediamonkey only writes to ID3v2.3, and every time I use mediamonkey to update the tags, it overwrites the ID3v2.4 tags with ID3v2.3. Might be related... Edit: and my version is 5.0.3480.beta2.

There should be an update to Java 1.7. I'm running: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_17, Linux (68.7 MB / 109.5 MB) with 3480 as well, on Linux (Centos 6.4), without issues. I would try installing the latest version of Java. Its solved now. I have cleaned apt and done an update + upgrade and no more errors on last days. The debian packages I got installed are: java-common 0.47 libatk-wrapper-java 0.30.4-3...

Hi there, I found this guide very useful: I can highly recommend this guide for installation of Subsonic on the Pi: Java 8 with hard float really boosted the performance compared to my previous installation with java 6 and my system runs now really smoothly (with > 10'000 songs). The guide also includes how to setup the jukebox mode, however I had no chance to test it yet. best regards Thanks for the guide. I'll post...

Hay, so far I'm liking madsonic. I'm running the latest 4.8 build, it don't seem to run at all well in internet explorer (I just tested it to see what it looks like in ie). I tried the 5.0 build but I found the scroll seemed to be running slow so I went back to 4.8 for now and I'm using chrome. What's the Moods for? it always just says Please scan your library before. That will do for now with my questions lol But I do...

Found a "workaround" of sorts.... Just let the display rotate from landscape to portrait mode, or the other way around, and then back again, and the reflection will "reset" to the current album cover (until the next song starts playing). It's fixed in the Android 5.0 Release, which will be released soon. best regards
