DLNA/UPNP

Unread post by BurntTech »

i couldn't find anyone else talking about it but I can't seem to get 5.1 TechDemo 2 to work with the DLNA. The log shows it enabled the DLNA server but nothing else even on TEST level. Windows media player finds the DLNA Server but says there is no results once you click into music. VLC player just crashes and the xbox 360 doesn't see it period which may not be supported in the first place. I'm running this on 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.57-3 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I can see UDP port 1099 is open in netstat. Both the Clients and Server are on a LAN but I do know my router doesn't support UPNP to the internet. I'm hoping i'm just missing something simple.
