Hi folks,
i got a lil question. I am trying to edit the jsp site externalPlayer.jsp.
In early subsonic versions i was able to edit some lines to fit the shared mediaplayer my needs.
-> stylechange fblike and such stuff ...
Madsonic won't accept these changes . i can edit whatever i want, the shared media site is not changed.
is there any trick i have not figured out yet ?
i am using on of the last stable .deb releases
thx in advance

Re: edit of externalPlayer.jsp
hi there,
you have more options to modify your JSP file.
with latest builds Madsonic 5.x comes bundled with jetty8 so JSP files are precompiled to
speedup the webapp and minimize read cycles from disk (embedded hardware).

options
- 1. use an older Madsonic 5.0 back-ported jetty6 build (works like in old build versions)
https://code.google.com/p/unraid-madson ... one.tar.gz
2. use the tomcat.war build (need eventually JAVA-JDK version if Jetty is used)
Madsonic 5.0 http://forum.madsonic.org/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1133
Madsonic 5.1 http://forum.madsonic.org/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=1200
3. use and modify the source and build your own version -> https://github.com/MadMarty/madsonic-server-5.0
