An error has occurred during startup

Unread postby pinkmoon » 22 Jul 2014, 00:31

Just rebooted my PC and found Madsonic unable to load. Seems very similar if not same issue as posted on main subsonic board back in 2009, with suggestion it was either no internet connection or firewall (neither of which seems applicable here, as am connected and tried to start when Avast disabled).

http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2295)

Any thoughts? Only thing I can think is Java update broke it?! :(

Sorry, as soon as I'd posted this issue I found the same one reported in the beta release section of this forum. As such, downloaded the updated standalone version and copied across the booter jar + main war files and eventually started working again.

PS on this point, have noticed before that it seems to take MUCH longer to actually successfully link up once the service has started. Could this be something to do with my large init filesize in the settings.. or something else?
