Just got the dreaded 503 error this morning, and found a thread stating that the ./db and ./db.backup folders should be deleted after stopping the Madsonic service, however I did not have a db.backup folder, so I simply renamed the db folder to db.backup and restarted Madsonic.
This worked, however the admin password reset back to "admin" (which I have changed!), and I have lost all my other user accounts, along with all my other settings - media locations, access levels, playlists, etc....
Is there any way to get these back?
Error 503 - fixed, but broken
Re: Error 503 - fixed, but broken
hi,
these settings are stored within a file called subsonic.script or madsonic.script
this is the file operating the database ( simplified )
follow my instructions at : http://forum.madsonic.org/viewtopic.php ... 1211#p4082
think of creating a dedicated backup while messing with these files. ...
Changes at own risk : )
