Mac Install question

If i install the MadSonic 5.0 Final version of mad sonic from the mac install it works fine. But when i go under applications and right madsonic and - show package contents to replace the war under contents - resources - masonic.war and the madsonic-booter.jar under contents - resources - Java with the 5.1.5200 versions masonic no longer start.

I am downloading the standalone tar to get the war and the masonic-booter.jars. Is there something easy I am missing?

Any pointers would be great, i would love to get to the 5.1.5200 version.
