[solved] Folder list in 5.2.5420.20141215

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to 5.2.5420.20141215 from the latest stable version.
I remember that in the old version, you could select a folder from the drop down menu on the far left where it says "All Music". I don't seem to be able to do that now?
What i mean is that when adding a folder in "Media Folders" it would come up in the drop down menu on the left and then just sort out the different artists in that folder in the accordion below.
I'm sure there's a setting somewhere but i can't seem to find it.
Would appreciate any help.

Also, some songs just won't get added inside the different letters of the accordion, which i believe worked fine before.

I've added a picture in case i'm not clear enough.

Thanks!

replace the leading __ with some [] stuff like

[not sorted]

then it will be listed at the correct place.

((( files with lieding . or _ aren't a good idea when dealing with webstuff )))

Thanks for the input. I renamed just the name of the folders thinking this would solve it. I did a complete clean and scan just to be sure but that did not change anything.

I'm guessing you want me to change the directory name?
I can maybe see why but it was working properly with the stable release and there's never been issues with older releases.

Changing the directories would cause major issues with other stuff (it's doable but i rather not), and i need to be certain that this would fix the problem.

EDIT:

So i disabled all the folders and created a new test folder without "__". No dice. I saw another thread here explaining this exact problem and it looks like the feature has been removed.
Why?

EDIT 2:

Oh! I found the fix.
In the groups tab under Media Folders, Select "Don't group".
