LastFM - Madsonic encountered an internal error

Hi all. Having problems with 'Sync Madsonic Artist Cover from Last.FM'. The error informs: 'Access denied to file Jose Gonzalez'.
Using root I gave recursive ownership of the music directory to the madsonic service, but still have the same error. I can download artist artwork from the artist, even to Jose Gonzalez. I'm fairly new to all this so not sure if this is a bug or user error.
Any pointers?
