de- & reactivation Madsonic services

Unread postby Madevil » 08 Jul 2015, 22:40

Dear Madsonic Community!

Unfortunately, the recent financing negotiations for the Madsonic company have not gone well,
so it has an impact on my MSDN/Azure subscription, which can no longer be extended.

Therefore this services are going offline:

  • Madsonic beta page
  • Madsonic demo server
  • Madsonic license server

I'm really very sorry for these circumstances.

Yes,
please tell us what will you plan to do next.
Why you don't ask for donations or sth similar?

Will you continue development or not?

Can we still get the beta?

Thank you

Well,

For my part, I am willing to donate more than my share and possibly help pay some /all of the msdn costs (depending on how high they are), just reach out.

I'm sure there are a number of us who would be happy to mirror your site and be on some sort round robin DNS to share the load. I don't have unlimited bandwidth but I have plenty for now. It's easy enough to setup an rsync.

My question is have you resolved the MSDN/Azure subscription issue. Seems to me that without a development toolset you can't really work on the product.

Maybe you need a fundraiser and give those who donate a free subscription for 1,3,5 years dependending on donation. I am assuming you still plan on the subscription model at some point.
