Hi,
I'm running version 5.0.3780. When I add a podcast, and the podcast settings are set to "Download all" when new episodes are available, it sometimes downloads more than one copy of the same episode. It tends to download all of the episodes, and then go back and download extra copies of some of them. They appear in the folder with an identical name, but a "0", "1" etc prefix. So far the record is four copies of the same podcast episode.
Are there any logs that would be helpful to post here?
Cheers!
Downloading multiple copies of a single podcast
Re: Downloading multiple copies of a single podcast
Just tried this out with the latest build (3800), and it's still doing it.
I'm adding multiple podcasts at once, and it looks like (judging by the file create dates) it goes back and downloads everything again once it has finished downloading everything once.

Re: Downloading multiple copies of a single podcast
hi there,
i saw this error on one of my test server, but i don't remember the tested podcast.
May some Data change within XML will rescan the whole podcast.
Can you provide me some podcast examples with errors?
best regards

Hi,
The "Stuff you missed in history class" podcast (http://www.howstuffworks.com/stuff-you- ... odcast.htm) has this happen.
As does the "Radiolab" podcast (http://www.radiolab.org/series/podcasts/). Both of them using the RSS feed.
It pretty much happens to every podcast except one podcast which only has a single episode in it (it removes previous ones as new ones are added, which is a bit annoying). That's the "BBC Friday Night Comedy" podcast (http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/fricomedy)
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Also, I've just added the Freakonomics Radio one (http://feeds.feedburner.com/freakonomicsradio), and it's downloaded them all once.. and then downloaded them all again!
