[Solved] Editing JSP Files

Unread post by j3tblk »

I customize my installs. I installed 6 to check it out and again, it looks like you can't edit the jsp files.
Is there a trick to bypass the caching like there was in previous versions?
If so, could we get instructions?

lame-sauce = subscriptions. I would pay for timely tech support not features.

hi there,

this comes from the precompiled JSP files of the default jetty version, you can simple use the madsonic tomcat version which don't use this. ;)

simple test of editing files from

Code: Select all

\Madsonic\jetty\5260\webapp\WEB-INF\jsp
logon.png
Hope this help you :D

best regards

There's no way to edit via the Jetty installs? Your link references Jetty and 5260. I'm trying to edit the jsp on 7200. Are you moving the Tomcat files over to a Jetty install?

Everything looks great. I noticed a few things that pushed me back to the old version: the "hot" feature on the Album covers isn't working. There's redundant data in the main window and the right panel.

The biggest deal breaker is the default "pop-up" action of the player and the queue. Even pinning it - it was annoying and too distracting. if you pin it down you lose your queue view.

In English 'Profile' is not 'Profil'

Just some contructive feedback to help with the final product.

I see where' you're going with the ads too - ughh. Terrible.
Make tech support and unique customization available for above and beyond payment and I'll gladly set up a re-occurring payment. My 2cents.

Thanks.
