I've been searching the forum. A few people have asked but no one has answered so I started a new thread.
Everything works great. However, I can no longer stream to my Androids from outside my home due to the following error:
github.madmarty.madsonic.service.parser.SubsonicRESTException: The trial period for the Madsonic server is over. Please upgrade to Madsonic Premium.
Visit
http://www.madsonic.org for details.
I am currently using Madsonic Android app version 5.6 codebase 308 on various Android devices some are Lollipop and others are KitKat.
I know that Madsonic Premium is not ready yet but is there any way to disable this prompt and continue to stream to my Androids outside of my home network?
Madevil has done an awesome job and I'm sure that I will sign up when the time comes. But I would like to continue streaming until Madsonic Premium is ready to go.
I am currently running the latest Madsonic v6 on a headless Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server.
I installed Madsonic from the .deb file.
Been using Madsonic for years, been using Subsonic before that. I have a lifetime Subsonic license which no longer works on Madsonic.
My personalized Subsonic URL no longer works either. I can reach my server by IP Address from a browser and stream without the error message.
