After the media folder scan id completed, ratings from withing the files are not shown.

It seems, madsonic is ignoring RATING-tag when loading information from a file.

I have set the RATING tag in foobar2000 to 5 (for a long time), but no star is shown:
stars-missing.png
mp3 properties in foobar2000
mp3 properties in foobar2000
does it need special requirements to import stars/rating from files via the media folder scan?

The Rating should be imported automaticaly. Have you set the rating in foobar before or after importing the File to Madsonic?
I don't know how madsonic works here, but it might be possible, that Madsonic reads the rating on Import and stores it in an internal database. So, if you set the rating in foobar after importing the file, you might need to update your music data.

Thanks,
ratings were stored in the files, long before I installed maddonic.

Also, I would expect madsonic to re-read the ratings, if they were changed in the files (after a rescan of the db)
which seems not to happen here.

I tried to reproduce your Problem and added some Ratings to MP3 Files via EasyTAG and rescanned the folder.
It didn't work. Must be a Madsonic Problem.

Greetings Kae
