[SOLVED] Problem with DLNA UPnP in 6.3.9700

Unread post by chrissi55 »

=========================================================================================
 VERSION:      Madsonic 6.3.9700
 SERVLET:      Integrated with madsonic, (Jetty).
 SERVER:       CPU: Xeon E3-1230 v5 | ARCH: x64 | MEMORY: 32GB | HDD: 10 TB
 OS:           ubuntu Server 17.04.1
 SYSTEM:       Server
 INSTALLER:    Deb
 JAVA:         Oracle JRE 1.8 build 144
 BROWSER:      SRware Iron, Chromium 61.x, FF 56.x
 CLIENT:       KODI 17, DUNE HD Max
 DESCRIPTION:  Not playing Audio or Video Files
 REPRODUCIBLE: Yes
=========================================================================================
I activated the build in DLNA / UPnP Server in 6.3.9700
My DLNA Appears in DUNE HD Player and Kodi with it's "friendly Name" -> so far so good.

But when klicking to a mp3 or videofile (mp4 or avi) Player says "Serververbindung nicht möglich" Error (16) , or , "Fehler, Format wird nicht unterstützt"??

With 6.2.xxx Version of madsonic Server this wasn't a Problem.

The logfiles are very empty for that.

Strange, strange.

The files where playing via NFS Share very well but not via DLNA.

Audio files on a third Client (a Pure HD Audio / Radio) are also not played any longer.

Same tested with earlier stable Version 6.2.xxx was also here not a prob.

Any things to do - to figure out what's wrong?

Regards :-)

[2017-10-18 17:44:27,269] DEBUG FolderBasedContentDirectory - UPnP request - objectId: folder-0, browseFlag: BrowseDirectChildren, filter: dc:title,dc:date,res,res@size,upnp:class,upnp:originalTrackNumber, firstResult: 0, maxResults: 20
[2017-10-18 17:44:28,507] DEBUG FolderBasedContentDirectory - UPnP request - objectId: folder-122528, browseFlag: BrowseDirectChildren, filter: dc:title,dc:date,res,res@size,upnp:class,upnp:originalTrackNumber, firstResult: 0, maxResults: 20

The following worked for me

Changing the Tags for "Guest" for each group to disabled

Re-Scanned all files.

Then changed again the Tags for "Guest" for each group to enabled.

Made a Full-Rescan without cleaning

After that i could reach and play files on my DUNE HD, so in my foobar2000 player with UPnP PlugIn installed.

KODI didn't it's job - don't know why, but could be a problem with KODI and not with madsonic DLNA.
