Is it possible to have the server support the older 1.x version of the REST API as well as the new 2.0.0? Since the client has to report its API level in each API call, it would make since that the server could be backwards compatible with the client, supporting only what is applicable to the client's API level.
The problem right now is that only the Madsonic Android beta seems to work with the new server. All others are causing a REST API mismatch error.

Re: Support lower REST API version?
Good point.... This would be especially useful for anyone who connects to both 5.x and 6.x servers, and/or Subsonic servers (which as far as I know still use the REST 1.x API.)

Re: Support lower REST API version?
i check the possibility to implement both REST APIs native,
so you can decide for Madsonic REST 2.0.0 or emulated Subsonic REST 1.13.0
