Upload not working in 6.1.8240 and 8700

Unread post by noobnoob »

Hello, I already posted in a related topic but since I'm guessing is a bug I'll post it in here.
I've definitely ruled out any write permissions error and have even created the destination folder by hand. I've tried to upload different Zip files with different names and different content created with different tools.

It always ends up giving a NPE in madosonic.log. Not any more info elsewhere. And it's just that, a simple null pointer exception. Without any clues on why.

I've tried also different web browsers and different WiFi connections. So I guess this is a bug.

Ahhh, like I said.. I tested versions 8240 and 8700 stable.

Could this issue be fixed please? I think this is very important like to having it broken along several "stable" releases.

Running Centos 7 with tomcat 7.0.54 and java 1.8.0 OpenJDK

Cheers

+1, same here on mac os x

changing the path in "general" doesn't change the path on the upload panel and the result is null
