All of my music files are on an external hard drive. I took the hard drive with me over the weekend elsewhere, and when I returned and hooked up the hard drive to my computer hosting Madsonic, and while Madsonic found all my files just fine, it reset all my playlists to Zero files! (0)
I had a lot...A LOT of playlists.
Any way of getting these back? Is there an easier way to save or protect these playlists than exporting them individually every time they're changed?
Thanks

You can try going to Settings, then Playlists, then import your playlists, but if you haven't backed them up, then the only thing you can do is recreate them from scratch.
Once they are back, from Settings, Playlists, you will need to Export them to your default folder, which you can then copy elsewhere as needed.

Re: Lost all my playlists
hi there,
a new palylist backup function is implemented with Madsonic 5.1.
Every time you make a manual scan a complete backup of playlists will be made.
best regards
